I have six children and 3 dogs. Birth #1 I was induced early because my Dr. was going out of town and wanted the $$ for the birth. Pitocin hurts, I was sick to my stomach, and people came into the delivery room that were not invited in. Birth #2 I was a little more educated and wanted to do a natural child birth. But, when we got to transition phase of my birth I started to panic and wanted and epidural. That epidural wasn’t necessary and it injured my spin. Birth #3 I told the nurse I needed to push, she said go ahead. I pushed once and caught my own baby. Birth #4 I was doing too much and ended up going into labor too early. I had a short to stop labor. I was at a 4 when I started active labor. This baby was born very quickly. #5 is where I found Richelle Jolley. She is an amazing midwife. As I was transitioning this time someone was there to help me calm down and call on the angels from heaven to help me. It was a very spiritual birth and I loved this birth. Birth #6 was a perfectly birth again using Richelle Jolley. I feel like these births have made me what I am and I really would love to help others have a positive birthing experience by being their doula.
